ADZ is pleased to present "The Must of the Moon", a solo exhibition by Shiwen Wang and the artist's second with the gallery.

Begin with Bagalāmukhī, the eighth Mahāvidyā; hail she who holds my tongue. Begin with her hurting hold, the love of origins; let her take the words out of my mouth, rivers, birds; return to the trap of my own words and practices; translate this trap to find her.

Shiwen Wang (born in 1995 Shanghai, China), lives and works in London, obtaining her MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art in 2021, a Bachelor of Fine Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2019 and a Bachelor in Art and Technology from the Shanghai Institute of Visual Art in 2017.
